Winnipeg residents can get up to 100 litres of compost during our Compost Giveaway event from May 8 – 10, 2026. It is available at the Brady Road Resource Management Facility, the Kilcona Dog Park west parking lot, and at the Summit Road closed landfill site while quantities last. The compost giveaway locations will open at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. No compost will be given away after 5 p.m.
